my STORY

Melinda started her career as a brand photographer, where on shoots, she was brainstorming business strategy just as much as taking photographs. After showing out one too many “you could do this” marketing ideas to a client, she was offered her first marketing job. Game on. Wild success for her client followed! Melinda noticed that while businesses technically performed the same marketing tasks, empathetic messaging was the “secret sauce” in well-performing campaigns and digital creatives.

Driven to tell meaningful connection stories, Melinda keeps her writing skills sharp and her camera close by as a freelance journalist and a national editorial, food and interior photographer. Her work has been published in Eater Dallas, PaperCity Round Top, Edible DFW, Qantas Airlines Travel Magazine and more.
